About that last post, sorry...Sometimes ignoring my emotions gets tough.
Got my head back today.
Garden's coming along. Paths are all cut, and thus are the raised beds and the squash hill is put together. I also constructed a crude "branch weave" fence to keep the dogs from stomping on my crops. The ever-bearing strawberries and onions are in the ground, and the gourd is growing on my windowsill, destined for the outside in May. I'm waiting on the seeds for the rest.
the cast: Ever-bearing, red wild and yellow wild strawberries.
Birdhouse Gourd, Ali Baba Watermelon, Connecticut Field Pumpkin
I shall also attempt an Atlantic giant pumpkin this year.
As I understand it, they reach 800-1,500 lbs regularly.
Hale's Best Cantaloupe, Victoria Rhubarb
Red, Yellow and White Onions.
And as soon as I get the wood, I intend to build a turtle box so Rumple can live in the back lot as well.
Than I can experiment and create hybrids! Mwahahahahahaha!
