So...yes.
My life has been odd lately.
I quit JoAnn's. 1. They wanted to write me up for all the time I missed from work due to bhroncitis, even though I had a doctor's note. 2. New scheduling manager Mr. Dickhead told me that they may or may not be able to accommodate college, and that was something I should "think about when deciding whether or not to go to school". Umm...fuck you. Old scheduling manager said that they would indeed accommodate college. So you know what Mr. Dickhead? I did think about it, and it turns out I did not wait 4 extra years just to get into a fucking community college, only to have my dreams ruined by a crappy retail job. Suck it. 3. Why the fuck am I spending every shift trying to explain to trophy wives and single dads how to do stupid craftsy bullshit when I'm offered twice the going rate DAILY just to do it for them? I'm willing to be a craft whore. Yes, I will conveniently forget to sign something so you can tell your country club that you made the scrapbook all by yourself, provided you pay me accordingly. Sure, I'll sew a clear brastrap onto your daughters dance-recital cap so that you have a chance of impressing the instructor with your superior fathering skills. Whatever.
Gabe made me go to a car show on saturday. It was actually really fun, and I got to drool on several pretty cars, eat a giant turkey leg, etc...I can't WAIT for the fair!
He also made me a huge candle light dinner as an anniversary present. Next month makes a year, and we can stop doing it month by month.
My mother threw away my GED. Apparently she got tired of dad showing it off, so she picked it up off the mantel and threw it in the trash, frame and all. Dad thinks he can find it. Psh. I'll have to call the state and get a new one, which will take weeks! I need to go to orientation by friday. Grr...
