[There's the clattering of what most Adstringendum residents should recognize as a PCD being dropped.]
Shit. Stupid thing is always--!
[There's a lot of gruff female cursing, noises that suggest some sort of preparation. A quick muttered name or two, practically palpable with rage, Kohaku and Chichi-ue and other unidentifiable ones, and then a

Finding it amid the other's, he ran towards the direction of her new house. He had to stop her before she reached Kagome. Or worse, before she reached Naraku.
Catching sight of her, he increased his speed, skidding to a stop behind her and grabbing onto her arm, speaking clearly.]
What do you think you're doing?

Let go, Riku. I don't have time for this.

You're being an idiot, Sango. Do you even have a plan? Because I bet you don't even know why you're so pissed off.

[It's not even the pain she minds, it's the fact that he's trying to control her. Stony-faced, she twists her arm abruptly, jerking at an angle his arm shouldn't be able to go very far in. (She's a demon slayer in the first place, Riku, and has been sparring hand-to-hand with Snape for months. He'd have to do better than that.)]

I'm pretty sure you already did.

[With a grunt she goes down, stumbling forward and hitting the ground hard, but it's calculated--and it looks like she's not even affected. She just ducks into a roll and then jumps to her feet a few feet off to the side.]
Then consider it vengeance for that. Among other things.

Vengeance will get you no where.
[One of his hands came up suddenly, the bright ball of blue and black fire already formed within it. He sent the attack directly at her, his aim well developed, and he does so without hesitation,]

Justice, then. I don't want to fight you, Riku, but I will if I have to.

Fine. Just don't get mad when you lose.

[She thinks about making a break for it, she has bigger fish to fry, and she's angry enough to really hurt him if she isn't careful, keyblade or no. Angry enough to just--snap, even more than she already has.]
[...yeah, not gonna happen.]
[But she's too close to employ her giant boomerang for its intended use. Instead she grabs it by a handle on one of its ends and swings it towards his midsection almost like a club, careful to keep it angled so that the force is blunt, not--well, not slicing.]

And from behind it came another ball of the bright blue and black fire, once more aimed right at her. She might have had strength and madness on his side, but he had an arsenal of magic and attacks on his.

[She digs under a shoulder pad as she backs away, coming up with a pair of pellets. With a smooth movement she drags her mask up over her face and throws the pellets with practiced accuracy--on contact, they'll explode into billows of paralysis-inducing smoke. Poison, and a potent one, originally intended for use on demons. The fact that Riku is human warrants fewer pellets, of course.]

His keyblade is dismissed in the same flash of bright blue light with which it had been summoned. Hands held out in front of him, those eye close, the air around him becoming still.
And then suddenly, a gust picks up around his feet, slowly spinning and turning, growing until it becomes a full sized twister, completely under Riku's control.
The pellets are picked up with the gust and carried away from them both. It's only after he hears the explosions in the distance that he allows the spell to fade.]

[Sango, on the other hand, doesn't give him a break. She half-expected the avoidance, so while he was unarmed, she readied a follow-through. She is far enough away now to put decent enough momentum into Hiraikotsu, and does so, slinging it hard enough to knock him over, knock him out, even--maybe even break a couple ribs if it hits.]
[Yeah. She's mad.]

His eyes flash as Way to the Dawn is summoned to his side once more, and he has less than ten seconds to figure out just how he's supposed to go about this attack without the use of Sora.
His sneakers pressed into the ground as he ran forward, jumping into the air, ready to strike the edge of his keyblade through the flying weapon that was currently heading his way.
But it was moving too fast, and there was no way he was going to be able to get himself high enough and into a good enough arc before it hit.
His mind raced, reformulated the plan off attack. She would be expecting him to use the same spell twice, and it had left him too open the first time.
And then it was too late, and he did the other thing could think of. Casting reflect, the blade of Way to Dawn coming into contact with the edge of the boomerang. Everything slowed, at the least for a moment, as he used his strength and the strength of the spell to send it back at her with the same force in which it had been sent.]
