[There's the clattering of what most Adstringendum residents should recognize as a PCD being dropped.]
Shit. Stupid thing is always--!
[There's a lot of gruff female cursing, noises that suggest some sort of preparation. A quick muttered name or two, practically palpable with rage, Kohaku and Chichi-ue and other unidentifiable ones, and then a

[Not another of her friends in trouble. She's worried enough for Lord Duroc. If the woman who is as good as her sister is upset as well....]

[But she's weary and stressed and still has so much pent-up frustration.]

You seemed so upset before. You are certain everything is all right?
[Telling her not to worry is like telling her not to breathe when it comes to people she loves.]

No, Juliet, it's not alright. It never will be, he's--
[She closes her eyes, physically bites her tongue, and takes a deep breath.]
I'm sorry. But--something's wrong. Very, very wrong. I can't--stop--it's like it took over--
[And apparently, she is inarticulate at the moment.]

Did he hurt you, Sango?
[She assumes the man in question to be Naraku. He is the only one over whom Sango would be so frustrated and upset. If he had attacked her....
And her next words give Juliet pause. Is that not what happened to Spike, not long ago? Why he attempted to attack Bubbles?]
It may be the same mysterious attacker as the last few times, if that is the case. Do not apologize, Sango. You have nothing for which you need apologize, not to me. Tell me of what has troubled you so, if you are able.

[She needed to thank that person.]
There has been - unrest - yes. I have mostly kept to myself, save a visit to Lord Duroc at the beginning of the week. I have spent more than a few hours in prayer, in hopes of keeping my spirit calm. I do not like when the more - hostile - aspects of the Capulet nature come into play.

I see... Maybe it's good to keep to yourself right now. [Deep breaths. She's much more of an aggressive person than Juliet--prayer won't keep her sane, not now. It's only the simple promise of it's pointless to attack him, and if you do, he'll hurt you back--where it hurts the most, your loved ones to keep her from doing something (pointlessly) stupid again.] Do you think it's the work of the Animus?

He is a good friend. Although, would that he could have found a way to do so that was less harmful to you.
[You fought back, didn't you, Sango?]
With so many people behaving oddly, and with that - that godless woman's warning to keep away from the angels for the time-being, I had thought it best. I do not wish to make myself into a target for someone's unwarranted anger.
[She has thought about this, and she shakes her head.]
I do not think so. When they change aspects of the city or of ourselves, they usually speak to us regarding the change, do they not? And they have not revealed themselves since the city became the sea.
[Of course, Stepford Week's gonna blow a hole in this theory, but shhh.]

No. Someone needed to smack some sense into me. [Why yes we are bitter, slightly self-loathing and borderline masochistic, how did you know?]
--if it's not the work of the Animus, then... what is it? This isn't normal.
[She usually has more self-control. She pauses.] Just before... just before I went after Naraku, a strange little girl visited me--she... did everything she could to make me angry. But I'd never seen her before.

I know not. But I think you are right when you say it is not normal. Not with so many people being affected thus.
[She frowns at that.]
What sort of strange little girl? What was her aspect, her behavior? She simply appeared?
Reply
..she was--young, dressed in white, fair. And she... she said strange things.

I have seen no one like that either. And Bubbles has not mentioned any such girl.
What sorts of strange things did she say?

I think she must, for her words to have affected you so. That does not bode well. For a child to be so malicious in this place....
You are better now, yes? At least a little? Have you need of anything?

And I'm a little bruised, but I'm fine. [This, of course, is before she goes after Rin and gets her ass kicked.] I think that for now it's... best to keep to ourselves.
