stephanie, natalie and i toured around texas for spring break. we hit lufkin, houston, and san antonio, mostly.

i went to part of the homecoming football game... a bunch of oz alums were there, so it was worth sitting through some football. also, emily and nic were crowned king and queen, and i totally love them!

mae with kellan, kallison, and kim, a.c. newman at clearwater, abbey's band in anna, tx, with res life folks, ingrid michaelson with ambika, katie, alicia, vanessa, and claire, greg holden and ian axel with ben, and dar williams with mommy.

not this year =/ it was too complicated and not important enough.

currently in lb, but most of the time i live in sherman.

mad science in the daytime, then IDC with some friends, fireworks on the lb boardwalk, crashing pj's party, then diner with gordon, rachael, and andrew karim... random, but lots of fun.

last year i didn't feel like making official resolutions, but i think i might for this year.

february 14th. bid day/night... such a unique cocktail of emotions in that day. boredom during the seminar, anxiety waiting to find out if i'd gotten a bid, absolute glee getting the invite and having a jersey put on me by actives, stress looking around the circle at 20 girls i barely knew (if at all) and trying to remember all of their names, giddiness and warmth dancing and hugging and taking pictures at our party...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
becoming an RA.
9. What was your biggest failure?
my nonchalance in some of my classes spring semester. i actually "incomplete"d one, which turned into a "fail" when i never rewrote my papers... sigh.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
i got a stomach virus right at the beginning of pledgeship (swear!) and then in the fall i got a sinus infection, or something along those lines, but i've been pretty ok for the mostpart.

owl city. i've been listening to them since september, they hit the mainstream in november, and i finally just bought their album officially this past week.

pretty much the same as it's been, though toward the winter months i started getting into menswear, as odd as that is. i bought a men's vest which looks adorable on me, and then a flannel shirt which is super cozy, and now i'm even rocking uniclo boxer briefs to bed...

sisters, though realistically, they drove me insane, too...

legalizing gay marriage is really the only thing that stirred me much, other than the public option for health care...
