Happy Thanksgiving, all.
I am thankful for Tobin and his skills, Jay who is kind and funny, Joey who is great, sisters, salvation, beloved Miami friends, Gillands, E and B, 400-lb cousins, Georgians who are intimidated by 400-lb cousins, Joseph (who buys groceries for strangers who forgot their credit cards), Band Marino, friends from out-of-town, poetry, Cuban relatives that think I am too skinny, parents, chapstick, people who still love me after all this time, dancing, gentlemen, dancing gentlemen, Tias who are exceedingly proud of me, umbrellas, Victor who scares people on purpose, brothers, my cousin Sonia who is singing with Tobin right now, babies, and cooking. And Timmon, who drew me a husband, since I didn't get one at Mia's wedding (my husband is a Viking, by the way. I happen to love Vikings).
And so much more, of course.
Oh happy day.
Perhaps next year will be better.
