Wow. Talk about a long time since updating...
Much has happened, hence the lack of updates. I might just have to do this the usual way so that I can be sure to cover everything.
HEALTH:
My back managed to get better fairly quickly with the help of my lovely chiropractor, but I will have to continue working to keep it that way. Everyone around me is sick right now but I am doing pretty good.
SCHOOL:
Homework is really starting to pile up with many assignments due over the next month worth 30-40% of my grade. Trying not to think too much about that through... After long enough in school you start to realize that things usually work out in the end. I am excited about my practicum... All I know so far is that it will be something to do with youth in Victoria, maybe group homes, after school programs, or employment counseling. I graduate on may 31! Just a diploma, but it still feels good to say I have accomplished something beyond high school. I'm not sure how long I will stay out of school, I've never really tried this before. Depends what kind of job I can get and how comfortable I am with my lifestyle. I would really love to travel around some more.
FRIENDSHIP:
Thai was here for her reading week and we had an ok visit. The important thing is that she enjoyed herself. We didn't get to spend a whole lot of time together... But it's ok because I, at least, have become more comfortable with the fact that she will always be around as my friend and we have lots of time to enjoy each other. I feel like we are moving in different directions as we grow, but this isn't a problem. She will always be my soul sister.
I am excited to be meeting new people all the time these days... I hope this doesn't stop when I stop going to school briefly.
RELATIONSHIP:
Ahhh! Yay. -mad grin- -dances- I love her. Yeah no one ask about this unless they want to hear some serious gushing. Everything is going great.
HOME:
Well moving for the seventh time in two years is not exactly my idea of happiness.... But it's going to save me money. Today Dave and I gave our month's notice... It's sort of complicated but I will be staying at his place for a few weeks in April and then the last few weeks I will be looking for a place in Victoria and bouncing between Bran's and Dave's. Agh, how hectic. I love living with Dave though, what an awesome situation.
FAMILY:
My mom is here visiting and I saw my dad earlier this week. I love them both so much, I'm so lucky to have a good relationship with them. My mother made sure I was being well fed and really helped out around the house removing a huge amount of my stress. Hopefully I'll be able to spend some time with my dad that isn't out of necessity (like needing a place to say in Vancouver).
WORK:
The usual. I am so used to it now, it's just fine. I'm hoping I can be transfered to a Chapters in Victoria for some extra cash though.
IMPORTANT DATES:
March 2nd-4th: Saskatoon to visit Erin and go to a sexualized violence round table discussion.
March 31st: I move into Dave's.
April 15th: School's out.
May 1st: I move to Victoria and start my practicum.
May 17th: CanUUdle!
May 31st: I graduate.
June 3rd: I turn twenty!
