Aaagh + some shameless self promotion

really should update this more. That being said, the fact that the subject of this post is largely a comment on how little time i have to do anything is somewhat ironic. So anyway, on with the post:

Aaaagh. No time! seriously, the fact that next term is my last at university and because we have no exams in it it is 10 weeks of solid student fun, uninterupted by any 'studies' or 'work' is the only thing I'm holding onto at the moment. As with every year this end of the term has turned into a work hell. So, like any good british person i am going to alleviate the stress by complaining about it. here is a list of what i have to do next week, on top of my usual work load for uni:
Rehersal every day for the 2 plays i'm in the week after (including 2 rehersal on sunday tomorrow)
Finish editing my third year film (the equivolent of a 1/4 of my overall uni mark. thats more than most dissertations)
Spend all day wednesday doing Steve's tech for his play (for those of you who have never been involved in theatres most dreaded time the mythic 'tech rehersal' is usually akin to having all your skin peeled off then rolling around in salt. Before being told the fade times still too slow so you should do it again).
Sculpt, paint and varnish a completely lifelike snail model for ian's film (don't ask)
Research two 3000 word essays and write one of (if not both of) them (on narrative structure in Reservoir Dogs/pulp fiction and use of language in Not I/Play respectfully)
Make an appointment to see the doctor about increasing my pain medication so i can actually handle the (as yet) unmastered waltzing required for the longer of the two plays in which i am in!
Produce (in tandem with Helen) the official Third Year Film Festival poster to be photocopied and dislayed around the university.
Put the fine touches on my own individual 'Gasman' Movie poster and photocopy/flypost
Draw a full page comic strip to be my (somewhat over flashy) psge in the Thirs Year Film Festival Programme
Collect (much chasing i expect) and collate all other 16 pages from students and actually make a functioning A5 booklet programme out of it
Work in conjunction with Ben and John (and ian?) to produce the running order for the second two DVD programmes for the festival so the poster can have all the relvant information on them
Play more D&D with Sharpey, Helen and Tom (and Alex?)
Decide what information about me i want to go in my yearbook
wander (semi)aimlessly around Reading for a few hours posting leaflets from work though peoples letter boxes (yeah i know, i hate me too)
Curse my compulsive volunteering!

Ahh, much better. For anyone whose interest was peaked the two plays I'm in this year are 'Laughter' By Peter Barnes and 'Victoria Station' By Harold Pinter. Both are ebing shown at various times the week after next if anyone fancies coming to Reading to see me humiliated. Additionally, the third year film festival (of which i am a more active participant, being a film student and having my 15 minute film being screened in said festival) is happening on the 13th and 14th of March. We have three full programmes of 13 films, each being between 12 and 15 minutes as well as three installations happening between the main screenings. The programme on the second day is the same as the first but reversed. Both days kick off from 12 midday if anyone fancies coming down, or is in the area.

oh, and the Lectureres are on strike. So we won't be getting our final degree marks (and by proxy, film/play marks) until later than expected. Disco

so how's everyone else?
