So much for updating more than once a week! This week has been exceptionally busy (in a good way) and I haven't actually spent a night of it in my own flat yet so that's my excuse. I've noticed before that when I'm actually busy and doing fun, interesting stuff I don't have time to write livejournal whereas when I'm bored and hence angst-ridden there's all too much time...
It has been a good week - most of the reasons why I can't tell you about as I think that would count as Too Much Information. However, the edited higlights include:
Discovering LaStone massage therapy at the spa - basically this involves being massaged with heated stones that are smooth and strokey. Pretty stones feel nice.
Viewing the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the cinema in St Andrews on Wednesday night after D&D. A couple of the D&D players actually went with me. One of them was a Rocky virgin (the other, more surprisingly, wasn't) - I think he got broken. Mind you, he sort of seemed to enjoy getting broken - he has potential...
Dressing up as The Crow for Rocksoc's 'Heroes & Villains' theme night in a costume mostly consisting of leather, bondage tape and make-up. Hence I am wearing black nail polish at the moment - I haven't done that for a v long time. So long in fact that mine had all dried up in the bottom of the bottle and I had to borrow some from Chris (who doesn't have a livejournal yet). He leant me glowsticks too and much dancing happened. Glowsticks - woo.
The post-Rocksoc beach party, with fire. Alcohol (though not green alcohol, unfortunately) and fire wood were acquired and taken to Castle Sands where some v silly people went swimming. I didn't swim. Instead I lounged around in the sand with Chris (spot the theme yet?) and enjoyed being near the sea. It was a fairly clear night with a full moon and the high tide was turning whilst we were there. I don't often see the turn of the tide and it is an even more intense sea experience than usual... Next time I got to Castle Sands I shall take a bucket and spade so I can make a sand castle. Rocksoc sand castle building contest?
