It's been nearly a week since I've been online - I really need to do something about getting online at the flat but suzerain is organising that and it doesn't seem to be happening yet.
There is now Zim on the computer though - this is a good thing.
Party didn't really happen - it was stupid to hope it would really. I don't think there are any further plans for another party attempt here, however you are more than welcome to just visit to watch Zim or whatever...
I've just agreed to help out at the local wildlife WATCH club. For those who don't know about WATCH club, it is a group for kids with the stated aim of learning about wildlife and ecology and stuff. It actually involves mud, frogs, rock pools, glitter and all sorts of cool stuff like that - I used to be a member when I was a small sproglet, and getting involved now as a grown-up seemed like a fun boredom-reduction measure. If nothing else, it should keep me in practice in case I want to do museum education again, and will look excellent on the CV. It also means that I now know where local green places are, which is good.
I'm also making a start at role-playing again, and not White Wolf games either (woo!) - I will try and avoid long posts about my character...
