Interview again
I've got another interview at last! This time it's Monday 11th October in Edinburgh (WOO!) for the National Library of Scotland. The post is cataloguing assistant - I like cataloguing :) In fact, I like books - sometimes I think I like books best. Books are uncomplicated (until you get to the bit in the middle, on the actual pages, anyway) and I know where I stand with books. Sometimes books are strokey too.
I so want this to go well (big surprise there then) - I want to feel like I actually have control over a piece of my life. At present, I have an acute feeling that I have lost control over all the bits of my life that matter, and that makes me angry. Being angry makes it even less likely that I can regain control.
On the other hand, I have somewhere good to live even if it isn't in the city, a cat to serve, dogs to play silly stress-release games with (ok, imagine the football has a letting agent's face, kick said football all around and about - I feel better, and Tess has fun too), a supply of X-Files videos and lots of books, not to mention other good things that are important but that I don't feel comfortable talking about on LJ like friends...
Oh, and I have new tights with ghosties on just like the ones on the corset :)

And I will have that party one day!
