one day max and cora
were in a deep conversation
about the depths of their relationship.
max was on the dock
but as cora talked deeper and deeped.
.
deeper
she fell
she fell and fell
she fell further than the dock
further than their converstaion
further than their relationships
she fell
then
thud
she landed
after a long fall she awoke to see max
looking down at her
he was on teh dock
he seemed only feet above
but he was truely 20,000 leagues
the atmosphere felt dry
like she was on land
but she knew she was below the water
she walked it out
seeing what was around her
as she walked away from the dock.
she left the safe waters of the bay.
and walked further and further out in to the ocean
as she went away
she got deeper
under the water
on the floor of the ocean
she walked out into the ocean.
something brushed passed her
but
nothing was there
then she heard a wailing screeching sound
the sirens were near
its hard finding your way.
a blizzard
swept through the town of the bay area
max was left on the dock
it was frigid out
the local fishermen told him to head on back home
instead he sat there
a hobo lent him an extra coat he owned
he decided to set camp with max on the dock.
they made beans over a fire tehy set up
the hobo has a tent he owns
the blizzard was the worst of its kind.
the
deadly
kind
the hobo and max tried to stay warm
they huddleed and they cuddled
slowly
as the fire burned out
as the hobo pissed himself
max
started to feel something
he felt
cold.
he knew it was happeneing
the hobo the fire it wouldnt last
his love for cora?
before he could answer
he died.
his body grew extremely cold and tunred blue
the hobo cried and weeped for max was
the only human being who would share beans with him.
he felt that in order for maxs soul
to live out his destiny and to
find cora.
he would have to join her
the hobo supplied max with a square foot
of electric fence and slowly set max into the water
at first maxs body just floated there near the dock.
but then the hobo kicked him.
sending him afloat to ocean burrial
giant squid travel in packs
giant squid feed far away form the docks
giant squid feed in packs
giant squid dont hold back the fury
cora was walking along the bottom.
it was squid time.
the squid all came out in search of food
during the rampage of feeding time
the giant squid noticed her
they questioned her being
she replied
im a human
but they told her she was silly and they ment her true being
she was puzzled and could not answer
the water world
began to shake
the body
was afloat
and fell
max fell
he fell and fell
through layers apon layers
and he fell
fell through the coral reef
fellthrough the feeding fenzy of the giant squids
as his body neared the floor of the ocean
he floated gracefully to the ground
cora saw him
she bent near him
his electric fence had saved his body.
he would have crashed into the coral.
and cora would never be able to say good bye to him
she picked him up. she knew he was dead.
she knew she knew
it was because she fell.
she held him up.
she danced
the jelly fish were the stars
they did a dance around them
she dragged max's dead body around
dancing
123 123 123
she danced she danced
the music played the jelly fished danced
she could feel it
she could just tell that he was going to come back to life
the jelly fish danced the music played
and cora danced with maxs dead body
"oh max. isnt this just so grand?"
no reply
time had passed.
cora danced with max's body for 3 days
the blizzard was gone and a new light was shinning
but the feeling the feeling cora
got when she thought max was going to come to life
was gone.
she just wished so hard for it to happen
that she believed it would happen.
max didnt come to life.
instead max began to decompose.
cora was silent.
she layed his body down.
and walked away
she knew she had to get to the surface
she had to
she reached the end of the ocean
she waited there.
not wanting to go to the bay.
she knew that once she crossed over she could never go back.
she did.
as she walked into the bay she rose to the surface
her head reached the surface.
she got onto the dock. and then began gasping for air.
she composed herself. and went back into the town.
the town was silent.
eveyone was gone.
away. stowed away in their homes
cora stood there soaking wet in the middle of the town
at first she was silent
then she yelled
yelled as loud as she could
and looked to her side
the hobo was sitting infront of the saloon.
he nooded at her
she noded at him.
the dock was closed for five years after the incident.
teenagers say they can see ghosts dancing.
out in the middle of the ocean
with jelly fish dancing around in the air
it was max and cora.
dancing
on the surface
cora dwyer,
max trapkin,
dance,
death
