Monochronic Gale

Feb 17, 2008 11:32

I was having the Understanding Communication class, while the professor had explained the Monochronic vs. Polychronic people. And I was like, huhhhhhhhhhh?? I was this near to give the example of Gale on the Monochronic ones *meditates*

Monochronic people will:

- Do one thing at a time
- Concentrate on the job
(here's my proof: Gale's so dedicated to the Dr. Sugar role, isn't he doing research seriously into that brain surgery thing?)

- Take time commitments (deadlines, schedules) seriously

- Are low-context and need information

- Are committed to the job
(isn't he?...*nods and melts* )

- Adhere religiously to plans

- Are concerned about not disturbing others; follow rules of privacy and consideration
(please don't argue this point :P)

- Show great respect for private property; seldom borrow or lend

- Emphasize promptness

- Are accustomed to short-term relationships
(well... )

I just can't get Gale out of head in the whole class. XXXD
