"You should be Vain"
I was told that I should be vain instead of being nice, 'cuz it's lame.
"You should be vain,Brittany, you are too nice, you need to make some new friends that like who you are!" says Jim, "and you should always have fun with your friends, what's the point of hanging out with them if they don't bring you happiness anymore?"
"But friendship is not only about having fun, you have trust, you are emotionally attached, you know and all that. It sounds like you are using your friends just for yourself!" I couldn't understand his definition of friends.
"Britt, you should think more for yourself, you don't need to think about how she thinks, leave her alone and play games with her!"
"What? But friends are not supposed to play games together, especially close friends!" I responded.
"well, she can't reciprocate the feeling to you,don't yourself too available for her! You should just let go if she doesn't deserve your time!"
"But...she's my friend, she's my friend..." I was disappointed.
I don't understand how friends can play games with eachother, 'cuz friends will never hurt friends. I put trust in my friends and now it's shaky and risky, because they are not doing the same thing to me. Should we trust at all? I question myself again.
