Nicely done! At one point, I was so sure that was Katherine, tricking him (and it turns out I was kinda right?) Really sensual, and great look into his mind... I really liked this.

Man, I knew it had to be someone's dream, but I was really thinking Elena for some reason. Wonderful, love the part about Damon needing someone to pick him first. I think that sums up Damon's feelings so well.

i entertained the idea that maybe, just maybe it was katherine. but then a dream sounded more plausible, even though i wanted it to be real. beautifully written, with a great look into damon's head :)

yeah i wanted Katherine to be responsible for it in some way. And I've read so many stories of all this happening from Elena's POV, but not nearly as many from Damon. not sure why that is... :)

Oh god, this was completely amazing. I didn't feel even the slightest bit cheated when it was revealed that it was a dream. The writing was just too good. I could see it happening for real and you've given me hope for the series! :D
