I've started reading Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar again. This is not a good sign.

Been really interested in Sophie Calle lately, haven't found a new artist I've been this into in a long time. Maybe I'll start writing like her.
9:40 pm, Tuesday February 12th 2008, subject has brown/red hair, green eyes, 5'5, and a fascination with randomnized geological formations and the smell of lavander. Subject exhibiting signs of mild depression. 9:41 pm, complains of head hurting and feelings of uselessness. 9:45, stares blankly at wall. 9:46 pm subject erases skin from skeletal structure. 9:59 pm, subject removes face violently from head, blurring the fine lines between truth and fiction.

Sophie Calle asks blind individuals what the most beautiful thing they've ever seen is. Her first subject replies; the sea.
