Happy Easter!
Well, here I am, on nights again. Holidays at work are always so slow and boring. Well, I guess that's a good thing so I'm not running around all night. Not many people have babies on holidays. Nope, it's the day or two after, when all that heavy good food is settled into the pits of their stomachs and soon puts them into labor...we'll get hit in about two days. We had Easter dinner at work tonight; I brought a ham, someone else brought chicken, casseroles, cookies...yum yum! It was good and now I'm too full to move. We were joking about running laps around the unit. Tempting but unlikely that it will actually happen.
I'm beginning to become quite handy around the house since Matt's been gone. I started by hanging pictures and today I fixed the door handle on our house that had fallen off yesterday. While the task may seem menial to some, it was quite a large achievement for me.
I began to sell my plasma for extra spending money last week. I've done it twice and made $90. I thought that was pretty good. I think I will continue doing it until I get a scar on my arm that makes it look like I'm an addict or something.
Ellen and Wei come to visit on Friday. I'm super excited. It will be awesome to have some company. The house is always so quiet. Now, if I can just clean the house up a bit...
