Long Time No See!
So I feel like I should actually start updating so I have a record of my life somewhere.
I am so close to finishing at Clark and starting at WSU-V I can taste it! Well, not really taste it, but I know what classes I'm going to be registering for and I know that I'll be registering for them in May, and starting them in August! I just can't wait to be doing something that will actually be impacting my future, and my future career!
My financial aid awarded me lots of good stuff, and my whole tuition+books is covered by grants of all kinds. The only loans I'm taking out are to accommodate my living expenses-so basically while I'm going to school I plan on only working for 10 hours a week. Which I wouldn't actually have to do because I am taking these loans.
I will be graduating with a BA in English, a minor in Fine Art, a certificate in teaching, and a Master's in Teaching in only 31/2 years. It's amazing what you can do when you really set your mind to it! I'm a super goal oriented person and I cannot believe that I am actually on the right path to final achieve something worthwhile. I hope I am good at teaching, and that it can support my future for not only myself, but Ryan too as he finishes school and delves into the real world of art. I don't know how easy it will be for him to get a job in his industry, or where his job will take us, but I know I'll be ready to take those steps with him when we get there.
In other news, I officially just finished the entirety of Sailor Moon (the anime) including all of the movies. I felt really sad and empty after I finished watching it until I realized that now I have all of the manga to pour over! I just have to save up and get a good deal on eBay or something! I'm hoping that when called Ryan and sounded very upset about not having any more Sailor Moon and having to now save up to buy the manga that he decides to buy it all for me for my 21st birthday/our 5 year anniversary...it would go along very well with all the DVD's of Sailor Moon he bought for me! This weekend he's coming down and bringing me a bunch of stuff he bought for me at Sakuracon. I was pretty sad I couldn't go, but he bought me some badass stuff and I can't wait!
So, I gotta go to bed now, as I have to work at 5:30 in the a.m. as per usual. I hope to be writing more often (as in, more than never). Ciao!
