As the picture implies, this is about Anderson and Alucard, it was started the previous evening, but finished up last night. By the way, that picture's not mine. I don't remember where I found it, but it's really neats ^-^
Alucard is awakened by his new Master, and returns to the home he shared with Anderson who has been relieved of his priesthood. The pair had gotten married and now Anderson was quite old, and near death. Alucard was very sad of course, and so on what would be their last night together they told each other a long story of how they met as if it were a fairy tale to tell a child. The story is as follows (Alucard's part in Red, Anderson's in Green):
Alucard smiles and pets the man. "It's about a little girl, finding the love of her life and losing him. This little girl was at a party with her Master. She was a servant in a big house and accompanied her Master where he wished. She felt out of place, as always, but she smiled and looked around the room looking pretty. The girl lost sight of her Master, but she wasn't worried because he told her to be home by morning. She caught the eye of a blond man from across the room. She found out that he was older than she, since she was barely 15, and the following month she would be 16. The man walked across the room and asked to dance with her. The couple danced for a few hours, then he drew her away from the party. They went to a coat closet, and the laid together carnally. She found out that the man was a Catholic student going to become a priest. At first, she was scared about her punishment, especially when the man's silver cross fell on her breast and left an angry scar. She cried out at the pain, but he thought he was going to fast, and silenced her with a kiss while slowing his thrusting. The girl kissed back, of course. She found herself falling in love with the priest-hopeful while they spent the day sleeping in each other's arms. The next night, they were intimate as well, and he told her that in the morning he would have to go back to Italy since his graduation from Seminary School was soon. She scribbled out the place where she worked, and said that he should write to her and if being a priest didn't work out, that he should call her and they would get back together. After the man went back to Italy, the girl stayed in the closet. Another servant in the Master's house came and found her. He told her that the master was very angry with her for being gone for two nights without permission. The girl kissed the other servant and thanked him for finding her, then the pair went back to the Master's house. Going in to the house, the girl tried to go back to her room, but was waylaid by her furious master. The master took the girl into his room and beat her savagely with a silver cord. The wounds weren't serious, just hurtful and humiliating. Then he dragged her to the bed and mercilessly raped her, while accusing her of being a harlot. That she belonged to him, and not the Catholic man she gave herself to. He told her that if she renounced her love, that he would let her go, and they would never speak of it again. But she refused, saying that her Master could never own her heart, even if he owned her body. The Master slapped the young girl, then took a silver cross and stabbed it into her side, then drug it down to her hip, leaving a far worse scar than the blond man's cross did when it accidentally fell to her breast. He finally released the girl from his room, and the servant from earlier, helped her to her room and held her protectively for the rest of the day, and on into the night, always keeping watch that their Master would appear again to take his anger out on the girl more." During the telling of the story of their meeting, he strokes Alexander's hair and kisses the top of his head, sighing a bit.
"Meanwhile, The catholic man silently cried on his way home, not wanting the others to know what had happened. He went into his dorm and didn't talk to anyone until his graduation, feeling awful for leaving the girl alone. He wondered for days if she was alright, and for years he put his heart into his religion, trying not to think about the girl he left waiting for him. His own heart was so heavy, he often thought of giving up on being a priest, and returning to England to be with her. Though along with that, he also thought that she probably wouldn't have waited so many years. She was a lovely girl and could probably have any man she wanted. Of course at this thought, he always grew furious and locked himself away in his room, never quite knowing why he was so territorial of course. He knew he'd probably die a priest, and of course, the thought of never seeing his little girl again depressed him. The only thing that kept him going was the thought of seeing her again, and seeing if she would try to change his mind, or if he should tell her to no longer wait again...he waited many, many lonely years, before ever seeing his little girl again. And by then, he was too blinded with lies that were stuck in his head and with depression and loneliness, he didn't even notice it was her"
"The little girl responded in kind to the priest, and tried to kill him as were her orders. Then the girl took to raping the priest. She knew it was him, but his continuing to try to kill her made her feel as if he'd forgotten their love. The raping was just a way to stay close to him. Then one day, after talking with a good friend about his relationship that had started out similarly, she told the priest that she no longer wished to rape him anymore, and that she would leave him alone. The priest went out for a little while, and called the girl several hours later to tell her that his being a priest didn't work out and that he was coming back for her if she had waited. This made the girl smile, and be happy inside, for she had waited for him, all those many years. Their reunion was happy, and their relationship long and content. They were married one day, which caused much rejoicing from their friends. One day, the girl had to go away because her Master was. She was sad and cried for many minutes into her husband's shoulder. She returned about twenty years later to find that her husband's hair had grown white, while she remained the same. His strength had not diminished though, and he held her tenderly yet firmly. She was happy to be in his arms again, glad that he had waited like she asked."
"And their life had gone on for more years, happy to be reunited...though one day, the man got sick, and was bed ridden for many days, the doctor came while the girl was away, and told him..." a tears rolls down his cheek "that he should enjoy the time he had. To live like he was dying...for surely he was." Alexander buries his face into Alucard's chest, starting to tremble a bit "And he knew soon, he would be taken away, by a force he could not stop. And he and his little girl would be apart once again..."
Alucard found out that Anderson had a severe case of Bronchitis and that the man probably would not be long for this world. So the pair went out to the garden and sat by a fountain. Anderson leaned on Alucard and fell into a labored sleep, while Alucard watched the skies. Towards dawn, Alucard carried Anderson back to their room and tucked him in. Alucard thought for several minutes about what kind of solution could be had. Ultimately, he woke the man and offered to suck out his blood, to make his death quick and relatively painless. Anderson agreed and tilted his head back to give the vampire better access to his neck. Alucard kissed the corroded artery, then the man's lips, and then bit down into the artery, sucking out the man's blood, while he cried about the death of his husband. Once the blood was removed, Alucard wiped his lips and kissed the man until the muscles relaxed. Alucard sat up and cried a bit, staining the front of his shirt with the blood that flowed from his eyes.
He heard a knock at the door and found it to be Ceras. Alucard welcomed her into his room, and she confessed that she thought he was sad about something. Alucard tried to put a smile on his face, but found that he couldn't. He broke down and told her the story that he and Anderson had told each other, including Anderson's bits. After the story, he explained its meaning and that he offered the man an opportunity to find a way to become a vampire, but Anderson said no on the basis that he didn't want to become that which he hunted, and that Alucard had his own little girl waiting for him. Ceras didn't understand it or why Alucard kept referring to himself as a girl during the story, but she offered to tell Anderson's daughter. Alucard said no, that he should be the one to do it, since he took his life. Alucard smiled and hugged the girl, then explained all the statements' significance. that he referred to himself as a girl, because when he and Anderson met, he was a girl, and that his own little girl waiting was Ceras. The girl blushed, and disappeared for the day at Alucard's bidding, because he wished to be alone. Alucard went into his bedroom and snuggled into his husband's side for one last day.
To think that such a heartless vampire as Alucard could develop a soft spot for one person, let alone two... This world is truly filled with wonders.
