Job / Billion MySpaces / Dragonforce / Awesomecam
I did not go anywhere this summer! I did my internship at KIRO the whole time, and my last day there; I was offered a job at another radio station! So, I took it, and am currently employed by Entercom (same people who own KNDD, KISW, , KBSG, etc) to work at KTTH: The Truth. Since this is only part-time work, I am looking for another job to supplement the income. So, if anyone hears of something between Olympia and Seattle, please let me know!
On a different note: I cannot believe that MySpace has hit over 1-BILLION accounts. I am not sure if it is just displaying that number as a placeholder, but as I am writing this, it says: 1,000,000,008 accounts in my network. Insanity.
So far, nobody has made any offers to the Media Swap. I am not sure the reasoning… I am thinking the process is not completely understood, so I am working on a flash document to explain the Media Swap a bit better.
DragonForce is in Seattle on Wednesday… I am thinking I am going to go, but I have limited funding, and I want a bunch of people to go! Shoot me a message if you are going! It is at the Showbox, and is only $20 at the door.
In the Music-playing department, my former roommate Dan Maxwell and I are practicing in his basement, and preparing to play some shows! We are in search of other local (Olympia-area) musicians. Any skill level. If you are just a beginner, but have a sense of humor and willingness to play and practice, give either of us a message.
