[Axl's voice is oddly quiet, his tone dark. His usual cheer is totally amiss.]
... well, we won. Kind of.
I mean... yeah. We won the first fight. Against... Red. The leader of Red Alert. Yknow... the guy that took me in in the first place.
... but there are gonna be more. Somebody else is behind all this, some... "professor" guy.
[A long pause.]
Red's gone. He... set the base to self-destruct. Idiot. [He obviously doesn't mean it.]
... anyway. We're gonna find that professor guy and make him pay for what he's done to my friends.
