Safari Hints
One of my favorite things about Firefox was always the flash blocking add-ons that were available.
Now there's finally a decent flash-blocker for Safari: ClickToFlash
It came out a while back but it wasn't really ready for prime time use (disabled flash objects weren't obvious, no white list, etc.) but they've improved it recently. Very handy on slower computers or pages like the strib homepage with 8 flash ads.
