DMV
I don't like getting stuck in a long line, especially behind people who are in the wrong line or want to discuss unrelated trivia with the person at the main desk. That said, in some ways I really enjoy having been in a miserable line like that, getting up to the front and efficiently handling whatever transaction I need to and then leaving. At least now my car's registered for another year and it's currently old enough that I don't get stuck paying a huge registration fee anymore.
It's really strange being in the apartment without monstersocks around. I lived alone for quite a few years in the old place but I'm just not used to being alone in the new one. She gets off work before I do so she's always home first, and she doesn't really travel that often unless it's with me.
