Avatar: The Last Airbender

Man, Avatar: The Last Airbender is easily, in my opinion, the best cartoon being shown currently on American tv. The characters really do act like they're twelve, fourteen, fifteen, or sixteen. There's plot and continuity, but the episodes also stand on their own. Except after watching the entire season in order, there's so much more you can catch.

I stayed away from the show for a long time because Nickelodeon does not, in general, produce programming I want to watch. But glenraven kept poking me until I finally watched it. And it was fantastic! But it came on when I worked, so I only saw a handful of episodes. Until Nickelodeon had a marathon of every episode aired, which I taped for the purpose of showing my roommate. And yes!

We have the season finale on right now, and I love it. Zuko is--! And Sokka, who is such a fifteen-year-old boy with a crush. And Katara's gotten so strong.

...I post now because anything else I'd have to say would be even more incoherent with glee than that last paragraph.
