People, Hallmark Channel is like slash, full of men talking to other men about their feelings. But with women being the important characters. Yes, I'm watching Cedar Cove. I gave it a go because I love Andie MacDowell to pieces (Sex, Lies and Videotape a formative youthful experience) and then there was Teryl Rothery being more adorable than a basket of kittens, followed up with Dave Sheppard! Okay, not exactly Dave Sheppard, but I like to think of him as Dave Sheppard starting a new life. In Cedar Cove. As a small town paper editor. And then I like to imagine John and Rodney and Teyla and Ronon visiting. Hee!
The show has its pros and cons but it's fully all about women, their relationships with other women, and some fellows who show up and moon and pine over the women. And occasionally have their own storylines but rarely separate from the female characters. Did I mention Teryl Rothery?
PS Teryl Rothery, don't break the pretty cowboy's heart. I want cowboy snuggles!
