halfamoon is being super-delightful with heaps of gen and femslashy goodness, in fandoms known to me and not. For example, this sweet Romana 2 story. I was fairly heartbroken when Mary Tamm left Doctor Who, though I was used to losing companions by then. I never really bonded with Romana 2, though of course, I still watched the show. In the past year, fandom of a certain age (about ten - twenty years younger than me approx) has given me the love for Romana 2 and that's really quite a good thing, what with more love being better than less, pretty much every time.
Chuck is back, did you know? Maybe this half of the season will be full of Chuck/Casey/Sarah fanfiction. Maybe? It makes sense: two handlers, one handlee! This is a delightful interview with Adam Baldwin. He's so frank and cheerful.

Latest seems to be the Vatican saying that Ratzinger had no idea (none!) that Williamson held his vile views and has told him he must distance himself from his malicious theories in “an unequivocal and public way” if he was to continue to serve in the Roman Catholic Church.
This calls for a donation to Reconciliation Australia* in honour of apologies made, or to shame those not made when they should have been.
*Or, of course, philanthropic cause of your choice.
