Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola has revealed that his family was shocked at his success in the film industry because he was always considered to be an untalented "black sheep".
He says that his parents and siblings used to think that he would end up unmarried, jobless, and penniless.
"Oddly enough, I was the black sheep of the family. I was not the bright student, I was not the handsome brother, I was not anything. I was like the jerk of the family, and it was mysterious how I should become so successful," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Coppola is famous for making the Godfather trilogy and Apocalypse Now.
