Hello hello hello,
Well it's been a long time since a post. Life has been chaotic for awhile. That's the only way to describe it. Since school started my life has been wake up, go to school, come home, eat, see bry, go to bed, repeat. On the night that I am off, I usually have good goals to get work done, call friends, hang out with people, etc, and I usually end up asleep by 9:30.
But anyway, school has gotten much better. When I first started, the 4th grade teacher I worked with sucked major ass. She is 62 years old and a former special ed teacher. So basically she thought I couldn't do my job and is a control freak and wanted to do my job and hers. She made last week really hard for me because she kept coming at me with questions and problems. By friday I came home frazzled and freaking out so my mom took me to TGIF for a drink!
This week has gotten better though. I went in to school with the attitude that i knew my job and this lady could deal with it. I've had a lot more confidence and I've been putting her in her place when she steps on my toes too much. And I think she's starting to see that I actually know how to be a teacher. The other teacher I work with is great. She's young, relaxed, and her room is so much better.
Other than school I started my 2nd grad clas: teaching reading to students with special needs. Only 1 night a week on Tuesdays, and that's enough. The class is really good though. I like going because it is applicable to what I do everyday unlike other college classes. This class will go until december.
So that's it. Tomorrow night Abby and I are driving up to worcester to see dee's apt and meet her boyfriend since it is her last day at Target. Congrats dee! It should be fun. Let's just hope that ophelia doesn't switch paths and suddenly smack us though, cuz then i'm not going anywhere.

PS: Wedding countdown from Thursday 9/15: 10 months and counting!!
