new week
feel slightly relaxed (?) - went to the rennaisance faire (someday i'll learn how to spell that!) - on sunday. lon was hot to go, and it sounded ok to me - turned out i loved it and lon was dissapointed. he expected a kind of village scene with jousting, hovels, peasants, knights, etc. it was a renn. faire, with ppl dressed up and playing the part, but all food stalls, shops and some rides for kids - and shows, where they usually passed a hat. the ppl were totally into character - ppl just coming to the faire even dressed up - would LOVE to do that!!! we saw the queen 'arrive' -everything was serious, but with lots of humor. later, when she was walking about 'in state', she found 3 girls in the crowd, gave them a speech about behaving like sainte anne and then conferred on them the order of ste anne, with the kneeling and sword and everything - the mother started crying!
anyway, we left there, went to 7-mile faire on the way home - it no longer is a flea market, its a wholesaler market, with produce. bought a case of grapes for a buck!
stopped to eat at a place where they used to have their own brewery - no longer do. the food was so-so.
soooooo - long story short - oops too late! the day was ok, but not great. at least we didn't fight - and that's a good thing!
can't get into neopets - which may be a good thing, cuz i have lots of bookwork to do!
have to call my cousin - he moved to florida and the latest hurricane went right over him!!
