what a day. an event called the Whole Health Expo took place here in Northampton today (and will be tomorrow), and our office had a big booth there. i worked from 1-7:30, almost incessantly. We were offering free on-site spinal screenings, and then we'd schedule people for a full evaluation after determining that they were fucked up & need chiropractic. lots of smiling (my face is sore!) and schmoozing in a way that i'm good at but prefer not to do.
i was hit on by a palm reader, and a Raelian. both very strange men.
there were crystal healers, green foods specialists, vendors of tibetan singing bowls, didgeridoos, earth shoes, maitreya soul therapy practitioners, fortune tellers, and more and more and more. lots of fairly wacked-out people. i guess i'm a skeptic. that's ok with me.
i'm drained after all that, though. but not enough that six hours of hot glass work tomorrow doesn't bring me a smile.
