While I was doing my final assignments, etc, my brother's status updates came up and they were super cheesy. Great day with Shyanne, I think is her name, and a million comments back and forth to each other. Gaggg. As I said before, he's finally admitted to his not secret secret girlfriend. "Yea, Melendez," my mom said looking at me. Uhhhhhhh? What. Anyway, I was laughing just because, hey, it's my brother, so it's weird!
I was telling this to my friend and he was like, "You're just not romantic. You don't think anything's romantic." Wrong, yo. I am, but not Facebook PDA. One of the things I find romantic, and I think a lot of people still do when they're older, is making wishes. I've made them on shooting stars a bunch of times, and in Rome, when we went to the Trevi Fountain (which is so beautiful).
When you're there, you're supposed to toss a coin over your shoulder into the fountain and make a wish. I'm bad at really thinking of them, so I stood there and closed my eyes, and couldn't decide, but I didn't have forever, so I tossed it and once it was in the air, I made my wish.
I already told Kim what it was, so I don't think it matters if I write it. It was very corny, but I wished that things will all work out as my friends want and need (particularly my home-ys, I was thinking of), and for myself too. I'm not that selfless. ;P haahhaha.
Clearly, I felt good about it. And I think that's a pretty great wish.
