I mailed some postcards and a letter today. It cost me like $8. o___-
It's actually really hard to write letters that are good and not all filled with fluff and silly things, like I felt my most recent one was. Well, that's mostly because it was short, but I think I'm doing an overwhelming amount of things...well, experiencing, so it's very hard for me to remember to put in everything, or be assed to. (Like when I talk on skype to my mom, and she asks what I did during the week and I only say about two things, and she says, "Is that all?" And surely, it's not, but I've gotten worse with remembering). Or have them really GET it. Like, the fact that I'm super excited I have a little little in my sorority - people don't get it sometimes really unless they're experiencing it (so, they'll be like, "Oh? Congrats?" or...yea, noo, just be excited with me! smh). That, and by the time it gets to the person, it's so in the past. About a week old, at least.
Letter writing's a talent, for sure, anddd requires practice, which I'd get more of if people actually replied! lol.
