Everyone is raised differently, and I get that, but I really wonder sometimes where people get off thinking how some of the things they do aren't kind of rude...
My parents didn't necessarily say, "Do not do A, and do not do BCDEFG." But generally being raised, there's a certain sense I have of treating people, and I would never do some of the things I find really rude and that tend to bother me. Given I have my tendencies to be rude sometimes, but I don't know, for the most part, not really.
For instance, I would never go to someone else's party or gathering, and decide, since I had to leave, to invite the whole party to my house. It's just like, really? Someone asked me that the other day, and I looked at them blankly, like are you serious?, though I probably should've just said it out loud. Rather, I just said, "No, my friends are here." Why would you ever do that to the host or put the people there in that spot. If I was hosting, I'd definitely be like wtf. It's like saying oh, this is wack, ya'll should come here. Though I know that wasn't the intent, I still was phased by it.
My friend didn't take it too seriously, as she never really takes anything he says seriously.
Additionally, I hate being inadvertently or advertently forgotten. Do not ask me to see a movie, then ask me again the day before, then ask me when I get off, giving me the impression we are going, only for me to find out I was forgotten or left out or whatever. I would never do that to someone, talk about something and not invite them, or invite them and forget to tell them.
Don't talk to me about it at all, or better, since you tend to do this a lot, just stop. It makes people upset and annoyed. And who knows, maybe they'll wind up forgetting you.
To me these are rude habits, but I have higher standards than most apparently. -________-;
