Words are a funny thing. In one moment, they can be so powerful. They can start relationships, strain them or end them. They can spark anger or help sorrow or encourage happiness.
In the same, they can mean nothing, overshadowed by actions. Words mean a lot to me, as I'm sure they do to everyone else. When I say things, I mean them so that my words do not become meaningless. Or empty.
Because they mean so much to me, be careful what you say backed up by what you do. Nothing hurts me more than saying something with no follow through. I'd rather you leave in silence than swear you're going to fight to keep something alive to be met by nothing.
Because, in the end, I'm always holding on to what's left of hope and belief.
