After working on our assessments a week and a halfish ago, Evelyn and I decided to take a stroll over to a bar on the bridges off the Royal Mile to see a classmate play guitar in an open set night.
It had been a while since I had walked over the Royal Mile, or in the middle of the night, at that.
There's this thing about Edinburgh. It's an old city, it has history, but it's also a small city. Manhattan is small, in that you can run into people you know, but Edinburgh, it's like you feel as if you belong and have a place here.
It's just so magical.
It's a city that gets quiet at night (on weekdays, lol) and the Royal Mile was completely empty, and it was just so wonderful to walk through and take in the city, and old buildings, just the two of us walking on the road, and it wasn't even late.
This city is impossible to not fall in love with. It got me thinking about how sad I will be to leave this place.
I dare you to come here and tell me otherwise.
