Me: haha, fine.
Me: BAZINGA. ohmygod. sheldon.
Marc: Wowwww. What?
Me: this show is too funny.
Marc: oohh. I need to watch that show.
Me: yea you do. I got all the seasons from my friend.
Me: wow. I sound so cool between that and reading game of thrones. I'm on par.
Marc: HAHA. that sounded so nerdy.

Marc: I feel mad close to you now and we're on opposite sides of the globe and both meeting new people.
Me: haha, yeaaa I knowww!

It's crazy how much shit him and I have been through, like I told him I was reading my old journal entries and he used to drive me batshit crazy with his bs. Why are you friends with me? And pushing me away, and our old feelings for each other at retarded times, etc. We're grand now.

It's funny because you can meet new people, make new friends, but the old ones, the ones you're closest too are mostly worth the time invested, because at the end of the day, they know you, and where you came from, and who you are better than the new people really do at the time. So, you can go to them about anything- your dreams, your fears, your hopes, your aggravation. Nothing beats that.

Ah, how good it feels!  The hand of an old friend.  ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

There is magic in long-distance friendships.  They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound.  ~Diana Cortes
