Buggered.
Been pulling pretty solid 12 hour days lately. Wish I wasn't on salary ;) But the caseload is slowly coming under control ... I've actually come across 2 whole children (of the 40 I've seen and closed so far) who meet criteria!!! Yes, that's right, they're the ones I'm ACTUALLY supposed to see!
Other than that, drinking far too much wine (this is a habit I picked up in Sydney when there was an excuse, but am having trouble getting rid of now that there isn't ...), not sleeping enough, smoking too much and generally putting myself into an early grave.
My darling parents have decided to INSIST that I come to Australia for Christmas ('cause it's working out SO well for them ... WHY does nobody EVER listen to me???????). I keep being idiotic and thinking that this is a democracy. I am going to try to get back in time to get to Chch for NY. Not sure how hopeful to be.
Doing an acting course atm, which is fun, still no work, though, so I think this might be a dead-in-the-water scenario.
Other than that, all is well, for a given value of well.
