so been trying the get shit sorted out and it has been going pretty well. trying to get some health insurance and the like.....becoming more established i guess you might say. feels weird to think that i am 23 years old...and needing to buy my own health insurance and another thing that i just thought about yesterday is that in december, i will have been out of school for a year. one fucking year! it went by soooo fast. i can't even believe that it has been that long. is this how it gets the older i get? a week will feel like a day, a month will feel like a week, a year a month? god...to think that that is possible.
so onto other things, i found out the Sex and the City Season 6: Part One had actually 12 episodes...thank god!!! so i rented episodes 5-12....fucking awesome as usual. i mean you can't take them too seriously but they are so much fun to watch with a glass (or bottle) of wine. the characters are hilarious in their own neurotic ways and i love their fashion (well most of it) and Carrie's obsession of shoes which i can relate to because boy do i have the same obsession and now have way too many shoes....well actually one can never have too many.
oh, and another movie that i recommend (which i saw from micol's website that she really liked too and i would have to wholeheartedly agree on) is Before Sunset....i have regrettably not seen the first one Before Sunrise, but even if it is out check out Before Sunset anyways....it is an eighty minute film in which 2 people (lovers) unexpectedly meet again after nine years of not being in contact with each other. so basically the film is 2 people catching up...talking about relationships, politics, ideals, etc...it is a perfectly scripted film with the perfect opportunity to really feel like a fly on a wall and feel like you are looking at a relationship between two real people, not actors....anyways, just some more tidbits of info on the films that i have seen as of late. oh also Casa de los Babys....another awesome film looking at all aspects of the adoption process of Mexican babies by American women and trying to show all points of view...a very genuine and realistic (based on my knowledge) film that really tugs at the heart strings...
okay okay enough of the film jibber jabber, but i will never get away from it...it is my passion and will always be.
