I worked from home yesterday because day care is on hiatus until the end of this week. And I managed to get quite a bit done, in record time, actually. So, Aislinn and I decided to take a nice, long, uphill neighborhood stroll in the early afternoon. (It was the perfect strolling kind of day, too). I had such a feeling of accomplishment.
It seems this trend followed me into the Tuesday vortex. I was able to lay out the dummies for Wareham and Sentinel by 11:30 this morning, and even had the proofreading of the Kingston and Carver listing files done by 1 p.m. Woot!
But I'm finding that having absolutely nothing to do for the remaining four hours -- during which I wait for PDF versions of the finished pages to come back for my approval -- isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I'm bored. And, by bored, I mean balance my checkbook kind of bored. (I can't believe it had been a month since I last tackled that task!). It's also pay my bills kind of bored. (Buh-bye, money I just took stock of in my checking account.)
I've gone to the post office, stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a coffee, spent some time cruising the aisles of 7-Eleven, and even managed to catch up with my f-list and ogle some nifty icons.
Seriously. There are only so many times I can hit refresh on my MySpace page before I start to get a little loopy.
So much for being efficent. That'll learn me.
