Time flys

OMG, I can't believe we're in October already.  It seems like just yesterday I was getting ready to go to the hospital to have Aislinn.  Nope, that was August.  But I guess that's what happen when you're a new mom.

Anyway, as I said, little Aislinn was born in August, on the 29th to be exact.  She weighed 6lbs and 14oz, but dropped to 6 after her heart surgery.  She was in the hospital for almost two full weeks, but she's home now and doing wonderful... the cardiologist said her heart is strong.  She did better than I did.  (I'm not sure how much info about the event was passed on, but I figure I'll divulge the details to those who don't know the sordid tale... and since I have nothing much to write about since all I do is make bottles and change diapers - sqee).   Yep, the doctor's screwed up and cut an artery when they finally, after two days of induction, decided to do a c-section.  Long story short - I came really close to not making it.  Then, almost two weeks later, I found a tear in my incision, 6 centimeters deep.  So now I have nurses coming to the house every day to pack the wound (they say it could take two months to heal).  Yippie!

Aside from that, I've been up to a whole lot of nothing, save taking care of the babe, so I've been able
to take advantage of my previously blogged tv schedule.  (FYI, Hiro on Heroes is the only good thing about that show for now.) I've also had some time to play around on the computer - I've decided to explore some tutorials and learn how to play with layers in Printshop (see my new icon - yay) and pursue my new obsessions - Dark Angel and my imaginary boyfriend Jensen Ackles.  Yep, no life, but damn proud.

And
librainiac... if you happen to go to a con and Jensen Ackles is there, kidnap him for me before the other fangirls get to him (my baby needs a daddy)!

*I love my imagination*
