Read all about it!
Okay, y'all. Here's my updated layout. And this time, since I'm proud of my masterpiece, I think it's gonna stick for a while. The basic layout was taken from a design by S.A. Finch found at Outcast studios (credit, credit credit!). I used their "Planet" header, the headline, and Superman pictures, but did the new layout on my computer at work. I printed out a copy to take home in and scan, imported the pictures on the home PC and, voila, a customized Daily Planet. And, for the record, somehow I chose a color scheme that coincided with my layout... you know, black, white and red all over... a newspaper... ha ha... totally unintentional.
Please comment if the entire paper isn't visible on your screen. On my humongous work screen it's all there, but on a normal PC the entries might overlap the background. So let me know, and I'll adjust it for your viewing pleasure.
P.S. I forgot all about Smallville until I got home from shoping and found a message from badasslytherin on my voicemail asking me to tape it for her. I got to see the last ten minutes, though, and I must say that this was the best part:
- Aquaman: "Maybe we should start a junior lifeguard association or something."
- Clark: "I don't think I'm quite ready for the JLA yet."
Not to mention, Clark telling Lois that someday she'll find someone special... a hint toward the future. Finally the meat of the nut!
