Here I come to save the day...

Yes, that's right... I'm still here.  I've been so busy with work lately that I haven't had a chance to update.

Katie's wedding was fabulous (aside from my brief mental breakdown when I though my boyfriend had abandoned me at the reception - he had merely gotten lost for two hours).  There was much dancing, much crying, much food and much more drinking (G-bless open bars!).  Plus, the hair extensions I got to cover my tattoo did the job well enough.  The girls all looked great in their dresses (way hotter than me), even Lady Consilvio, who had to be sewn into her top... literally.  I'm now as poor as a pauper, however, but I feel that a few weeks will give me enough dough to get me back on my feet and start/finish paying back my generous comrades.

I must say that, though I'm happy for all of my married friends, I can't shake the feeling that I'm being left behind.  I probably mentioned this before - the fact that, aside from librainiac , I was supposed to be the first, but, now, will probably be the last.  I think I'm a little jealous, or, if not jealous, just think that I'm not on the same social level as everyone else; it makes relating a bit harder for me.  I get a little sad when we all hang out... but I'm sure I'll get over it.

On another note... I haven't done any online chatting since, like, '96.  However, since my boyfriend has been hanging out in some Yahoo chat rooms, I figured I'd give it a go myself.  You know what's changed since the good old days when AOL first conquered the Web?  Nothing.  Absolutely nothing.  People are still just as queer as they were ten years ago.  You still get harassed by people looking for an online bf or gf  (not that I'm slamming that - you, librainiac , were one of the few lucky ones)  and by the grossest of all perverts asking you to cyber.  I'm glad to know that I haven't been missing much. Now I can rest easy at night (*scoff*).

Random  I-couldn't-think-of-a-transition-so-I-marked-this-as-"random" Statement: So far, this season of "Smallville" kicks some super ass.  I loved the throw-backs to "Superman II" in the premier.  Last weeks episode was a bit questionable, but I do like to see Clark and Chloe working together,  and love the tension growing between Lex and Clark, even though we all know how that is going to end.  It gives me something to look forward to every week.
