Musicals...
Within the past week or two I have been accused of "hating musicals" two or three times, each by different people. All three times just because I said "Rent" looked like a pile of shit, which it does to me. So I've taken it upon myself to make a list of all the musicals I could think of that I either liked or loved. ANd I don't care what my sis says, movies like Everyone Says I Love You do count, even if they don't have original music.
Musicals I Like:
Little Shop of Horrors
Guys and Dolls - been a while since I last saw it, but I remember enjoying myself. "Luck Be a Lady Tonight" is a classic and on my iTunes.
The Music Man - same as Guys and Dolls.
An American in Paris - probably my least favorite of the ones I've listed, but still a decent film and musical.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
