(this story is a summarized version of the one we read in class) OK so in english we read this guy's 5 short stories about coincidential things in his life (or other's lives) that taught him valuable lessons. His last one was of him being 8 years old and going to see a Braves game or somethin, i'm not big on baseball. he sees willie mayes and asks for his autograph, willie asks him for a pencil, he doesn't have one, neither does his family. willie says "sorry kid, no pencil no autograph" so from then on he carried around a pencil and that's how he became an author. ANYWAYS at the beginning of class before the bell rang i saw a penny on the ground. it was tails up and very shiny. so of course for good luck i decided to turn it on heads. and mr mathews asked me "so does that make it good luck now even tho you've messed with it" and i said "i think so as long as the person that picks it up doesn't know i messed with it." so we started class and read those stories, Alex Stefaniak is in our class and he leaves early, so as he was walking out he saw the penny and bent over to pick it up. mr mathews smiled at me and it was pretty cool how on that exact day we were reading those kinds of stories, something coincidential like that happens proving that small things like that often happen. and also it was cool how of all people alex picks it up so it's nice to know i've helped someone with a slight disability by giving him a piece of good luck. that it all.
