*cheers* *breaks out old, greying Atari t-shirt* That's great news, man, really!

Video games don't cause insanity? *throws away PS2* You falsely advertizing bastards!!!

Sony's big claim is that the PS2 emits Ethical Birth Control waves1 that cause men to lose all interest in sex. :)

There are a lot of "Playstation widows" out there, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that there's an LJ community on the topic.

1: As discovered by Grand Rapids orthodontist and prudish fundie Edgar Nation when he got tired of watching monkeys jacking off at the zoo. Now, he just organizes massive Madden 2005 tournaments for them. :)

Ehehehehee *cracks up* Yeah, wouldn't surprise me either. I'm sure they can make some underwear to remedy that, like the nintendo ones you linked to in your LJ once. *plugs back in PS2* Vibration function indeed. My brain is coming up for designs for the USB port analog-control bra as I type.

Perhaps they just need to release adult-rated games outside of Japan. ^_^ Wait, that wouldn't help, would it?

The Madden 2005 thing. Lord have mercy...did you come up with that?

You know so much about gaming. *bows* I am at your mercy oh great one! Tell us more about the mythical retro-arcade games of whose return you have foretold! *offers up tobacco product sacrifice*

Well, there is the "Trance Vibrator" that came with the Japanese edition of Rez for the PS2 (not sure if there was one for the Dreamcast version, also) that kinda included the ladies in the action . . . Really, like anybody in freaking Japan, the kinkiest country on Earth, put the thing under their chair so the chair could move. . . Not to mention, it came (pun slightly intended) with protective latex sleeves . . .

The footnote is a reference to Kurt Vonnegut's short story "Welcome to the Monkey House", BTW. . . Did see something once on the Discovery Channel about one of those gorillas that can talk sign language playing Duck Hunt on the NES, though.

And if I have my way, and I feel extra-psychic at the moment, thanks to a long call, so I just might, the next-gen systems will have rotary controllers. We so need 3D high-definition Arkanoid, dammit.

ROTFLMAO Of course, what a great product! Bless Japan! Mmmm...I can't wait to see if your prediction is right. As I'm sure it will be. ^_^
