(no subject)
I think our band committed an illegal act today at parade practice... but I'll get to that in a few minutes.
This morning I woke up at like 5 and I went in the bathroom and threw up. I also discovered that my luverly friend has come to visit me, so I was cramping and just didn't feel good. I went back to bed and then woke back up at like 7:15, so I hurried to get dressed and ready in 15 minutes. I wore my skanky band sweatshirt from 2 years ago, but it was very comfortable and warm! We didn't do much in any of my classes today, so that's good. I have some homework I need to do so I hafta keep this kinda short. (I did apologize to Andrew this morning, and he goes, "Okay." Shew.)
Anyway, after school we fixed some stuff in the closer and ran Gloria a few times. Pie Jesu and Simple have been left out for the past two practices! After that we got into parade formation and worked on that. About our illegal act: we marched down a one-way street the wrong way and trespassed as we all moved into people's yards to get out of the way of oncoming traffic. We also disturbed the peace with our music. This woman came out of her house and started taping us... I was like, uh oh, you're gonna turn that into the police! So on Saturday if you hear "We're sorry to inform you that the JJ Kelly Marching Band is not able to perform today due to police charges," that's why! *LOL*
After parade, we were all supposed to go home but the guard begged Michael & Daniel to have sectionals. I bet they were really surprised... how often do they get to hear us ask to practice instead of complaining about practice? (Not very, I'll tell ya!) So we had an extra hour of sectionals where we cleaned some work. It should be okay now. So we have our Thursday practice and then on Friday since we have no football game we're practicing from 4-5:30. I'm so pumped for Saturday!!!!!
