going home
Jacob. 8 days after having a heart tranplant, Jacob is going home. He was up and walking over the weekend. Not much, but he was walking, getting some exercise. He had a biopsy yesterday to check to see if there was any sign of the body's rejecting the heart, but there none.
An added "side effect", if you will, was his lung. He'd had the use of only one lung but since the transplant, the other lung has begun functioning. Not at 100% but when it was previously at 0%, then anything is better.
Amazing. Simply amazing.
