I don't really have time to go in depth right now (I'll probably get all nostalgic later), but just a major thank you to the year 2009... In the words of Brian C- "2009 was brought to you by the word 'epic.'"

Highlights include-

-kicking it off in VT with sister Kat
-singing at Fenway
-summer in Boston
-singing backup to Ben Folds, twice
-Adam
-the Boston crew- Dana, Lori, Jed, Brian, Evan, love you guys
-dollhouse nights and fierce chats with Joey
-Question 1 campaign
-starting to really write music again
-a TON of performing
-the Brewsters/NH lake house
-Castle in the clouds with mom and Kat on mother's day
-my current trip to Alabama, to finally meet "Bama boy" (aka Corey) and Brandon face to face after being friends online for 3 years
-new roomies, reconnecting old friendships (Rob, say what?)
-new Portland friends (Ben, Eric)
-caroling in the old port
-epic NYC trip with Brian to see The Long Count and re-meet Shara from My Brightest Diamond
-seeing the Shins, and the Decemberists TWICE
-all the NYC trips- including the REAL NYC trip to see Sara Sturdivant- Kurt Elling, what what?
-Carmen with the BOC- met some AMAZING people (here's looking at you, Bob)
-Gianni Schicchi, The Creation (singing next to my VOICE TEACHER!), Pirates of Penzance, Stabat Mater

So, can you say epic? I can- "2009."

Here's to looking back, looking forward to 2010, and to the moment right now- I'm in freaking Alabama?!
