Congo actually got an MSM mention
In last night's debate, I heard for the first time ever, a mention of the Congo War, by a member of the mainstream media. 4.5 million dead from 1998-2003 (and which continues on today to a lesser extent) and almost no coverage -- certainly less than 1/1000th the coverage of far less destructive (though still horrible) African wars such as the Darfur conflict or the genocide in Congo's neighbor, Rwanda.
