Here I am in
DeRosa's lab
and I'm doing some research which I'm sooo into! which I never thought would actually happen. My lab group is awesome, my supervisor is awesome, she's energetic, down to earth, always ready to help, a hockey fan, a soccer fan, what more could I ask for? Our entire group works very well together, some of you may have seen some pics of events we did together which I posted on my msn space...
For those of you curious monkeys out there, eventually what I produce will be a major part of a new biosensor which will help detect various diseases such as cardiovascular disease, renal disease, and possibly other things ranging from dementia to miscarriages. Hopefully I can get a publciation out of this too.
As for what in the world am I doing after 4th year? Everyone's asking that question... I honestly don't know yet but I do know God really did pick out something for me and He will show me in due time, I need to stop worrying. He really does have perfect timing, as I saw with this job, which I really wanted it to connect with my honours project & thesis next year and my biochem methods paper last semester, the timing worked out perfectly. I am personally incapable of executing such a plan by myself, no way.
I'm calling an Edmonton vs Buffalo cup finals... Mike Peca to square off with his old team and win.
Something I recently stumbled across... is this
the future of eyeglasses? Ouch... looks painful
